Valerie O'Hara's great uncle, William Pike, worked for Tiffany Studios in New York before moving to Rochester and founding his own company in 1908. Valerie, the third generation artist, has been designing for the studio since 1976, although she started working part time in 1964. Valerie has been giving tours and lectures for the Memorial Art Gallery, and is available to give you a presentation on the art and history of stained glass and Pike Studios. |
The show includes drawings, sketches, windows, tools and glass samples from Pike Stained Glass Studios, showcasing 104 years of our continuous family business. St. Rita's Church, Webster, NY, 7' × 12', 2011![]() We also offer tours - by appointment - of our 4,000 square foot studio in the historic Smith Gormly building in the St. Paul quarter of Rochester. |
